Eifion Wyn Williams: is a former Welsh professional footballer.Williams was playing local football in Hengoed when he was spotted by Cardiff City and signed professional terms with the club in June 1961. He settled quickly at Ninian Park winning a regular starting place the following year and was named club captain just three years after his arrival in 1964. He rarely missed a game in the next three years and his good form prompted Bolton Wanderers to pay £45,000 to sign him in October 1967.
