Korn Chatikavanij            Origin/Culture/Country: Thai

Korn Chatikavanij: a former investment banker and the current Finance Minister of Thailand. Born in the UK to an elite Thai family, he attended Winchester College and St John's College, Oxford before becoming a successful investment banker. He joined the Democrat Party in 2004 and successfully ran for Parliament in Bangkok in 2005. He was made Deputy Secretary General of the Democrat Party and became a vocal member of the Opposition to the government of Thaksin Shinawatra during the 2005-2006 Thai political crisis. Although he said he was "sad" at the 2006 coup that overthrew the Thaksin government and felt that it was "understandable for any democracy to denounce coups as a concept in general", he felt the coup was a "fait accompli", "inevitable", and had to be looked at "within the context of the Thai political situation."[1] Korn was reelected in the post-coup 2007 elections, but the Democrat Party remained in the Opposition as it lost to the People's Power Party. He was a vocal supporter of the People's Alliance for Democracy during the 2008 Thai political crisis. Korn was appointed Finance Minister to the government of Abhisit Vejjajiva after the Constitutional Court banned the People's Power Party and the Army pressured PPP MPs to defect to the Democrats.

Alejandro Korn: was an Argentine physician, doctor, psychiatrist, philosopher, reformist and politician. For eighteen years, he was the director of the psychiatrist hospital-colony located in Melchor Romero (a province of Buenos Aires), named as the city. He was the first university official in Latin America to be elected thanks to the student’s vote. He is considered to be the pioneer of Argentine philosophy. Along with Florentino Ameghino, Juan Vucentich, Almafuerte and Carlos Spegazzini, he is considered to be one of the five wise men of La Plata.

Clara Anna Korn: was an American pianist, composer and music writer. She was born in Germany, but her family moved to the United States and she grew up in New Jersey. She studied at the National Conservatory of Music in New York City with B.O. Klein, Antonin Dvorak and Horatio Parker.[1][2] She taught music in the New Jersey school system and from 1893 to 1898 at the National Conservatory, and served as head of the piano department at the DeBauer School of Music and Languages in New York City. Korn wrote for several music journals and founded the Women's Philharmonic Orchestra.[3]

Christoph Korn: is a German audio and media artist working with diverse artistic forms of expression: Composition and Installation, video, text, net art and improvisation. He is a lecturer for Improvisation and Aesthetics at the University of Applied Sciences, Frankfurt and lives in Düsseldorf. In the 1980s, he was involved in political movements and worked with street children in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo in the liberation theological project in 1988 and 1989.[clarification needed] At the beginning of the 1990s his first artistic works emerged, even though a political or historical perspective for the subsequent artistic work always remained definitive.[clarification needed] From 1992–1998, he studied Political Science and Philosophy in Frankfurt upon Main at the Johann Wolfgang von Goethe University.
