Burkard Hillebrands: is a German professor of physics and since 2006 the Vice President[1] for Research and Technology at the University of Kaiserslautern. Furthermore he is the leader of the magnetism research group at the physics faculty.[2] His studies were supported by a stipend of the German National Academic Foundation (Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes). He then became a Research Associate at the Optical Sciences Center at the University of Arizona.
