Hugh Patrick "Hugo" MacNeill: is a former Ireland international rugby union player. In 1983 he toured New Zealand with the British and Irish Lions and a the time played club rugby for Oxford University RFC. He has two daughters, Georgia and Isabella.

James A. MacNeill: was a blacksmith, merchant and political figure in Prince Edward Island, Canada. He represented 5th Prince in the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island from 1908 to 1922 and from 1923 to 1926 as a Conservative member. He sold farm equipment. MacNeill was elected to the town council for Summerside and was mayor from 1901 to 1904. He also served as chairman of the Water Commission and chief of the Fire Department. MacNeill served on the province's Executive Council as Commissioner of Public Works. His sons Leonard and Daniel Francis and his grandsons Francis J. MacNeill and Hubert B. MacNeill also served in the provincial assembly.

Francis J. "Peg" MacNeill: was an educator and political figure on Prince Edward Island. He represented 5th Prince in the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island from 1946 to 1947 as a Progressive Conservative. MacNeill was elected to the provincial assembly in an 1946 by-election held following the death of his father. He was defeated when he ran for reelection in 1947. He died at the Prince County Hospital in Summerside at the age of 87.

Leonard Malcolm MacNeill: was an accountant and political figure on Prince Edward Island. He represented 5th Prince in the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island in 1932 as a Conservative. He retired in 1928 to take over the operation of his father's business. He served in the province's Executive Council as Minister of Public Works and Highways. MacNeill died in office in Summerside at the age of 48.
