As the chairman of the People’s Consultative assembly (MPR), Zulkifli Hasan replaced Sidarto Danusubroto in 2014. Before that, he was the Minister of Forestry for Indonesia and received the title of Honorary Doctorate twice. This is a great honor as it was the first for the field of Public Administration for Sejong University and the second for the field of Human Resource Management for the State University of Semarang.
Hasan was also a member of the House of Representative for the Republic of Indonesia. He prides himself on being a self made man, which all started when he went to school and settled as a lodger.
