The conservative, Tomi Lahren went on the “Daily Show,” to talk about everything from Donald Trump, Colin Kaepernick, to political protests like Black Lives Matter. Lahren has some opposing views to the host Trevor Noah, which ended in a long debate. The conversation revolved about the efficacy of protesting political matters and the Black Lives Matter movement.
In the end, the debate came to an impasse with the host and Lahren disagreeing about some major issues. Lahren, 24, kept insisting that she wasn’t mad, however, her actions told another story – with her rants on anti-Trump protesters filling the studio.
Lahren is currently employed by Glenn Beck on the website “The Blaze,” and is well-known for her bold opinions and statements. In fact, Noah asked her about the infamous Tweet, she has since deleted, regarding the Black Lives Matter movement and how she referred to the shooting of five police officers as “the new KKK”. Lahren responded that she was just responding to the violent words she apparently heard from protestors, which she repeated: “Fry’em like bacon”.
The name Tomi is usually masculine in origin and is the Welsh, Hungarian, or Finnish diminutive of Thomas. The masculine name Thomas is the Greek version of the Aramaic name Ta’oma that means “twin”.
