Terry Jones is a Welsh comedian that was well-known for his characters on Monty Python, like the doting mother of a coal worker. He even received an award for his Outstanding Contribution to Film and Television.

His work will be celebrated at an awards ceremony, held in Cardiff in October. Mr. Jones is looking forward to the celebrations and is honored to be recognized in this way. Many of his fans were devastated to hear the news, as it was described as “terrible” and “sad”.
