Sundar Pichai Google Engineer

The Chief Engineer of the Internet, Sundar Pichai, is changing the world. After he became the CEO of Google in 2015, he revolutionized Google Drive or “the cloud”. Plus, he also worked on Gmail, Google Chrome, Google Maps, and Android phones.

Pichai was born in Chennai, India, in a middle-class family. At a young age, he discovered that he liked to deal with numbers when his family got a rotary telephone when he was 12. That’s what lead him down the path to becoming an engineer.

Sundar when to school at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur where he obtained a degree in Metallurgical Engineering. Then he went to the United States to attend Stanford University and Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania to get another degree in Material Sciences and Engineering.
