As a social and policy entrepreneur, Seif Abou Zaid focuses on education and how it relates to governance. When he is not working at the Foundation, he is the CEO of Tahrir Academy, which is a blended learning platform that uses stimulating learning experiences to educate many Arab and Egyptian registered learners. The system empowers them to choose, think, and decide.
For many years, he has focused on building from the ground up different grassroots organizations that help people using technology. His goal is to improve education, fight poverty and increase political awareness. He is accomplishing this through Protect Your Voice, which is a voting bloc that has a goal to protect Egyptians basic rights. In 2016, Abou Zaid was named one of the 100 most influential young Arabs in the world by Arabian Business.
