Ranveer Singh’s ‘Workshop’

Now that Ranveer Singh has moved to a new apartment he is much closer to his place of work in Filmcity, Goregaon. His idea is to stay in the character of Aluaddin Khilji, for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s project and not kill his precious time traveling to and from work.

Ranveer speaks of his “gufa” or den, where all the important work occurs. While he is in his den he is completely shut off from the outside world. Not to mention the fact that the location of his apartment is so high up in the building that the mobile signals are non-existent, so he can get away from everything and concentrate.

Avoiding his regular routine helps Ranveer stay in character. In fact, his den was designed to be his “workshop,” a place where all the creative work happens.

The filming of Bhansali’s next project has already begun for Ranveer, which has turned out to be hard work as the part is outside of his comfort zone. He is now at a stage in his career where he can take risks and try new parts that keep his creative juices flowing. Plus, he is already promoting his next film that was directed by Aditya Chopra.
