The Minnesota Vikings must find a new plan, as Norval “Norv” Eugene Turner has resigned as the coach of the football team. This will be the final season for Turner and it came as a shock to everyone in the organization. In fact, most people in the organization found out that Turner was leaving through media reports before they heard it from him.
Turner, 64, has decided to move on and the only succession plan is the coach of the tight ends – Pat Shurmur. No one knows how this plan with workout after Turner moves on but the game must go on.
At least Turner has only resigned, and not retired from sports, which is great news as he has a lot to give still. Turner let everyone know that it just wasn’t working out with the Vikings, due to a difference of opinions in how the offense should be run. He is not bailing on the team, but it's not good for either the team or him to stay in this crazy situation.
