The host of “Entertainment Tonight,” Nancy O’Dell, has filed for a legal divorce from her husband, Keith Zubchevich. This all happened after she became the subject of a lewd conversation between Billy Bush and Donald Trump.
The 50-year-old claims that she filed for divorce long before the well-known “Access Hollywood” exchange made it to the headlines. In this exchange, Trump told the reporter that he could hit on women and grope them without any consequences. However, O’Dell did have something to say on Entertainment Tonight – that it was not okay to objectify women or anyone, not even in “the locker room.”
The couple have a daughter together, Ashby, and have been married since 2005. Zubchevich is a chief strategist at a technology company and came into the relationship with two sons, Carson and Tyler. According to O’Dell’s Facebook page, the five of them all live together in the L.A. area.
The feminine name Nancy was previously a medieval diminutive of Annis, which is the medieval English version of Agnes that is taken from the Greek hagnos meaning “chaste”. However, since the 18th century, the name has become a diminutive of Ann, which is ultimately taken from the Hebrew name Channah that means “grace” or “favour”. Many regard the name to be independent nowadays.
The name became common in the 20th century in the United States. There are many notable people with the name, from Nancy Alexiadi the Greek singer to Nancy Hayfield the American editor, author and publisher.
