The CEO billionaire was in Nigeria speaking about how he used his engineering background to help create Facebook. He admitted that it was a bit sad to give up coding to run the company.
Zuckerberg stated that coding is elegant, it always does what you want it to do – not like people. However, he also said that people can surprise you too and go above and beyond what they are expected to do.
Mark went to Nigeria to learn how to help technology developments and entrepreneurs in Africa. While there, he explained how he used his engineering background to build the company, from the human resource decisions to the small everyday problems.
This year, Zuckerberg has become more involved in Africa, from the different initiatives to investing money to help startups. He has even backed a program called “Free Basics,” which will provide people with cell phones and internet access information on health care and employment.
