The name Alberto is a short form of Albert in many languages, like Portuguese, Italian and Spanish. The name Albert was taken from the Germanic name Adalbert, which has two elements: adal “noble” and beraht or “bright”. This meaning fits the iconic performer Alberto Valadez.
The name was given to many notable people, from medieval German royalty to kings in Belgium. Other famous people with the name include Albert Einstein physicist or Albert Camus writer and philosopher. Now the list includes Alberto Valadez, known as Juan Gabriel.
