Check out the new horror flick by Jordan Peele, called “Get Out,” which he not only wrote but also directed. Peele’s surreal and mysterious film has stars like Allison Williams, Daniel Kaluuya, Catherine Keener and Bradley Whitford, and of course Peele himself.
The trailer shows a mysterious black man in a white suburb visiting his girlfriend's parents. Williams and Kaluuya play the interracial couple, but she has not told her parents that she is dating a black man.
When the couple first enters the suburb something is thrown at the car’s windshield. Then, things get even stranger when they arrive at the parent’s house. In fact, a friend told them that many black men have gone missing from that very suburb. That's when everything takes a dramatic turn for the worse and an escape must be made.
The new horror film by Jordan Peele is quite the break from his usual comedic work.
The masculine or feminine name Jordan is taken from the name a river that flows between two countries – Israel and Jordan. The river was named after the Hebrew word Yarden that is taken from the word yarad that means “flow down” or “descend”.
The name has been popular since the New Testament but the popularity died down after the Middle Ages. However, it became common again in the 19th century in Europe. Then in the later half of the 20th century, it became popular in America and other countries around the world.
Lastly, there's a lot to be said for tradition. Naming the baby as per Numerology or even for the ancestors can have a positive impact on the baby's future. Even if you take these astrological signs with a pinch of salt, a little bit of extra luck never hurt anyone!..
