People are infuriated with the host of “The Tonight Show,” Jimmy Fallon, who humanized a very dangerous man on his show. Fallon seemed to go along with just about everything the Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump, gave him. Even ending the interview with a head rub of Trump's infamous head of hair.
All some people could talk about after the show was the head rub, which brought raucous applause from the audience. The bite-sized clip can be seen on the internet, the media and people everywhere are eating it up.
Besides a few subtle quips at Trump, Fallon’s interview was really polite, with no confrontation at all. The worse Fallon did was tell the nominee that he could still drop out if he wishes. However, the piece was a give-and-take, Fallon treated him the same was he would any actor or other guest. The interview was exactly what we should expect from the comedian Fallon, as he is interested in entertaining, rather than making enemies.
The masculine name Jimmy is a diminutive of James, which is the English version of the late Latin name Iocamus that was derived from Iakobos. Ultimately from the Greek form of the New Testament of the Hebrew Name Ya’aqov or Jacob, that means “holder of the heel” or “supplanter”. Jacob was born with his twin brother, Esau’s heel in his hand, which explains the meaning of the name.
Others believe that the name, Jacob, was derived from a hypothetical name, like ya’aqov’el, which meant “may God protect”.
