The release of the new album by Jermaine Lamarr “J” Cole was kept under wraps, as there was no promotion or hit single. The new album titled, “4 Your Eyes Only,” is Cole’s fourth and mimics the release of his last album “2014 Forest Hills Drive”.
A couple months ago, Cole stated that his performance in New York would be it for awhile. It was unclear why he decided to call it quits for a few months, but now the Fayetteville artist is getting ready to release his new album on iTunes. Although Cole has not confirmed or denied the album's release, the pre-order page on iTunes shows that the album is ready to go on sale.
Back in 2007, Cole and some business partners from college started Dreamville. Back then the name reflected the dwellings found at St. John’s University that were located in the “City of Dreams,” combined with the ending of Cole’s hometown – Fayetteville. It was awhile before the Dreamville concept was officially formed into a record label that still exists today.
