After the tragic death of Jim Carrey’s ex-girlfriend Cathriona White, he faces a lawsuit filed by her mother. However, the outraged mother will drop the lawsuit against Carrey if he agrees to release the records of an STD test from 2013, that was under another name – Jose Lopez.
Just a day after the charges were filed against the “Dumb and Dumber” actor, Jim and his lawyer revealed to the world that Carrey never had an STD – EVER. The mother of Cathriona, Brigid Sweetman, wants people to judge for themselves – to see who is actually "telling the truth and who is lying."
Sweetman filed a wrongful death suit in Los Angeles against Carrey that alleges he lied to Cathriona about his own medical condition. Plus, gave her pills that she used to take her own life in the end. This lawsuit comes just a month after White’s husband, Mark Burton filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Carrey.
James Eugene Carrey goes by the name “Jim” in most cases. The masculine name James is the English version of the Late Latin name lacomun that was derived from Iakobos. This was the Geek version of the Hebrew name Jacob from the New Testament. The name Jacob ultimately means “holder of the heel” or “supplanter”. Whereas the name Jim is just the Medieval diminutive of James.
The masculine name Jame was used since the 13th century throughout England. Even though it was more common in Scotland, where it was given to several kings.
