One of the stars from the “Deadliest Catch,” Jake Harris, is now recovering in hospital after a severe beating. The details of the attack were shared on social media, by his brother, Cornelia Marie Captain Josh Harris, via the Facebook page.
Jake Harris was “jumped” on the weekend, at around 8pm on Saturday. According to his brother, he was beaten and then tossed from a moving car. When medics arrived on the scene, Jake declined to file a police report or to go to the hospital.
Jake then received a ride home from a couple, but no one knows where he met them and exactly when he was beaten. A woman and man from Spokane are considered suspects, they have beat many victims and stolen their money. Jake identified one of the suspects from pictures and a video.
Relatives later took Jake to Providence Hospital, where he continues to receive care in the ICU. His injuries include brain trauma from a “cracked skull”.
