On his radio show, Howard Stern revealed that Trump supported the Iraq invasion all along. In fact, Donald Trump was on his show saying that he was for the Iraq war.
However, during the election campaign Trump had changed his tone, saying that he wasn’t for it. So they used Howard Stern's name in the debate to call Trump out.
Trump was on Stern’s radio show in September of 2002, a full month before Congress voted on the decision to invade Iraq. During the show, Stern asked him if he supported the war – to which Trump replied yes, but he wished it was done correctly the first time.
