About two years ago, a college student from Virginia was supposed to audition for the TV show “The Voice” but the opportunity was taken away by the disease Hodgkin’s lymphoma. However, Danielle El-Jor recently got the opportunity to meet up with two country music stars – Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks.
El-Jor was lucky enough to win a “meet and greet” with both Trisha and Garth through a contest on a local radio station. That's when she revealed that she was a big Carrie Underwood fan.
After Brooks heard her amazing story, he invited El-Jor to come to a sound check and sing with him for awhile. She was absolutely thrilled to have some time with this amazing country legend in the studio.
