Felicity Jones Really Wanted To Act In Star Wars

The British actress, Felicity Jones, was eager to take part in the Star Wars movie. When she got the part of Jyn Erso the Star Wars rebel she thought it was an amazing gift.

Jones is thrilled to take the responsibility of the Rebellion on her characters shoulders in the new movie – Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. In fact, Felicity would have done just about anything, including going above and beyond what was required, to claim this role.

This is a great opportunity according to Jones, a chance to play a complcated, yet well-rounded, female character who is a great leader. She immediately said yes when asked to play the role and thought it would be a great experience.

Jones will be starring alongside Tom Hanks, in the upcoming adaption of “Inferno” by Dan Brown. In fact, one of the reasons she chose to join Hanks on this project, was the chance to be a clever woman who was an intellectual equal to Robert Langdon.

The feminine name Felicity is taken from the English word felicity that means “happiness”, and is derived from the Latin felicitas meaning “good luck”. Others believe that is was the English version of the Latin name Felicitas, which is a Late Latin name that means “fortune or good luck”.

In fact, the Puritans during the 17th century adopted the virtue of happiness. The name became popular in the late 1990s after the television series “Felicity” was shown to the public.
