Names In Fame 2016
Date 11/05/2016
During her second pregnancy, Emily Blunt almost ran out of clothes that fit her. She was caught wearing some bright purple trousers at the farmers market, which was quickly photographed by paparazzi. Emily told Britain’s Vogue magazine that the purple harem pants were nice and stretchy.
At the same time the tabloids were coming down on Blunt for slumming it fashion-wise, her good friend was also pointing out her terrible clothing choices. However, Blunt was not surprised as she was literally running out of outfits to wear that fit her growing baby bump.
In June, Blunt and her husband, the star from “The Office” John Krasinski, welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world. Even Hazel, now two years old, was happy to have a little sister.
Now that the pregnancy is over, she is back to modeling. Emily was picked to be on the cover of the “Real Issue of Vogue,” even though it took many hours to make her look presentable for the photos. She posed in beautiful pieces by Fendi, Isabel Marant, and Coach for the cover shoot.
The name Emily is the feminine version of Emil that is from the Roman family name Aemilius, which is derived from the Latin word aemulus that means “rival”.
The name Emily did not become common in the English-speaking world until the 18th century when the German House of Hanover came into power in the British throne. It was not until princess Amelia Sophia, known as Emily in English was born.
