Dwi Handa – Indonesian Instagram Star

As the member of a brand new group called “Hipster Hijabis,” Dwi Handa has become an influencer through social media. Using Instagram accounts these influencers are paid to wear new fashion design and sit in the front row of Islamic fashion shows showing off their look.

Handa, 23, is an Islamic fashion enthusiast and shares her beautiful and unique outfits on Instagram regularly. She also blogs and has many pictures of herself in different outfits always wearing the Hijab. Handa has published a fashion tutorial for Hijab on her YouTube account. She has lots of support from her followers, and over the years has become quite popular.

From seventies inspired looks to modern trends, Handa always looks her best no matter what she is wearing. Right now, Handa is a model and attending the Mercubuana University, majoring in Public Speaking. She loves to do fashion shoots to show off she Hijab styles and write more on her blog post.

In fact, BBC named Handa one of the 100 most influential women in the world in 2016 for her work in the fashion industry. She revealed to BBC that everyone needs to express themselves and to be able to look at themselves and see someone alive and interesting.

The masculine or feminine name Dwi means “second,” “two,” or “second child” in Javanese or Indonesian. The name was ultimately derived from the Sanskrit word dvi. The name is not common and not many people are given this name.
