Lil Wayne Considers Retiring

After Police showed up to Lil Wayne’s home in Miami, the rapper took to Twitter to post that he might retire. Many fans were panicking following the tweets he posted on social media – that he was mentally defeated and defenseless.

Miami police went to his home after receiving reports about a shooting. However, it was just a prank call, but it’s not the first time this has happen. Right now, it’s not clear whether the tweets from Lil Wayne are related to the incident or if something else was involved.

Lil Wayne clarified things on Twitter when he posted that he was looking for sympathy, not just serenity. When fans continued to ask the rapper not to retire, he posted that he is good, no one has to trip out.

The American hip hop artist Lil Wayne is from New Orleans and his real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., who dropped the D because it reminded him of his father who was never around. The name Dwayne is a variant of Duane which is an Irish surname from an Anglicized Gaelic surname O Dubhan that means “descendant of Dubhan”.

Lil Wayne started writing rap songs at the young age of eight years old and at the age of nine joined Cash Money Records. He has rapped and collaborated with many famous people, from Lil’ Doogie to Chris Brown. Releasing many albums over the years, including Tha Block is Hot or Tha Carter III, to his hit songs “Lollipop” or “Got Money”.
