Dina El Mofty – Egyptian Entrepreneur

Dina El Mofty started the company Injaz Egypt, which has helped many students through work readiness and entrepreneurial programs. She has impacted hundreds of lives, as her organization is based on the belief that you just have to give students the experience and real-world skills to run a business and they can accomplish anything.

Injaz was co-created by the late Soraya Salti, and gives students many resource and mentors to work with. However, El Mofty was able to take Injaz Egypt further than Salti could’ve imagined and established an “accelerator” to help support the many businesses that were being created by students. In fact, over 40 Injaz teams have been able to elevate their businesses significantly since the “accelerator” was put in place. In 2016, El Mofty was named by Arabian Business as one of the 100 most influential young Arabs in the world under forty.

The feminine name Dina is a version of Dinah, which means Judged” in Hebrew. In fact, Dina is the name of the daughter of Leah and Jacob from the Old Testament. The name and its many versions have been used since the Protestant Reformation as an English given name.
