The stars from Will and Grace are getting together for a reunion for a new scene from the hit sitcom. In fact, all the former costars including Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes released an official photo and some social media posts.
The crew released a 10-minute clip that showed McCormack and Messing in character name-checking a bunch of stars, including Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Fifty Shades of Grey, Hamilton and Ryan Lochte’s Dancing with the Stars protest.
The two schooled their right-wing pal Karen (Mullally) about the Republican candidate Donald Trump. Grace highlights his “offensive” statements about minority groups like Mexicans or the LGBTQ community.
They also talk to Jack (Hayes) about the Democratic party nominee Hillary Clinton. Grace encourages both Karen and Jack to side with Clinton, because of her experience and the message it would send to children, even to finally shatter the glass ceiling.
The feminine name Debra is a variant of Deborah, which means “bee” in the Hebrew language. The name is also given to the nurse of Rebecca in the Old Testament.
The name first became popular as a Jewish name. It was used by the English Christians just after the Protestant Reformation. Plus it was common among the Puritans for many years. Nowadays it can be heard in it's shortened form – Debra.
