Coyote Peterson Gets Stung By Wasp

The animal expert, Coyote Peterson allowed himself to be stung by one of the most dangerous wasps in the world. Not only did he press the Tarantula Hawk against his arm himself, but he let the bug sting him.

The host of "The Brave Wilderness Channel" on YouTube wanted the public to be able to see the effects of the wasp’s venom. This wasp has the second most painful sting and even paralyzes its victim.

The Tarantula Hawk has a very misleading name, as the insect is a wasp. In fact, it is the largest species of wasps in America. This wasp hunts tarantulas from above, similar to a hawk, which is where it earned its unusual name.

It was a horrifying moment when Peterson took on the crazy challenge. It was the worse moment on one of his “bite and sting” episodes. He was nervous as the wasp doesn’t only sting, it paralyzes its victim and lays an egg before flying off. Then the larva hatches and feeds before flying off.
