Back then, Fisher was only 19-years-old and Ford was much older, 33, and married. The affair only lasted three months but it was worth it. As soon as the film ended so did the romance.
The affair was documented in Fisher’s new book “The Princess Diarist,” among other experiences on the set of Star Wars. Fisher even gave Ford a “heads-up” about the information in the book and a draft too. It should be interesting to see what happened behind the scenes on the set of Star Wars in Fisher’s new book.
