After making some homophobic and racist tweets, the country music star Blake Shelton is sorry it happened. The offensive tweets have been deleted from his Twitter account, but the damage has already been done.
The country star stated that comedy has always been a part of his career and he has absolutely no tolerance for hate, but sometimes his humor can be immature and inappropriate. He has apologized if his jokes were seen as tasteless or offended anyone, but they were not meant as hateful.
Most of the tweets Blake sent were rude and offensive to gay people, while others were outright racist talking about terrorism and potential terrorists. The tweets span over many years, from 2008 to 2015, and are just not right.
