The Today show’s third hour will be without Willie Geist, who has been trying to juggle multiple hats. As many viewers know, Geist has been on the Sunday show and Morning Joe every single day, on top of the Today Show’s third hour.

While sitting beside his colleagues on NBC – Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker, Matt Lauer, Tamron Hall and Billy Bush – on the couch of the Morning show the journalist revealed he would be leaving his hosting position.

Next, the veteran journalist for NBC stated that Billy Bush would be taking over his position on the third hour. It’s just one guy with a big head wearing many hats, passing the hat to another guy with a big head – Billy Bush – Geist stated.

After thanking all his wonderful fans for the love and support, Geist reminded viewers that he will still be a part of the NBC family on the Morning show each and every day. Plus, Billy Bush is right for the job, he is part of the family.
