Angelina Jolie is Divorcing Brad Pitt

The end of “Brangelina” is here, the two stars will be calling it quits and the Hollywood romance will not be forgotten. The relationship was known around the world from in refugee camps to the red carpet.

Jolie and Pitt’s relationship was chronicled in many fashion magazines, tabloids and gossip sites, in an effort to undercut the couple’s status. The love story has come to an end and the decision was made with the family in mind.

Jolie does not have any comments to make and asks the public for privacy during this rough time. The announcement was made by their lawyer, Robert Offer.

The two were married before 20 friends and family members at a chapel in South of France a couple years ago. Since then the couple has adopted three children and had three together. The romance became known as “Brangelina” when it became public.

The feminine name Angelina is the Latinate diminutive of Angela, which is the female version of Angelos meaning “messenger”. The name is derived from the name Angel that came from the heavenly creature. The name Angel never really became popular in the English-speaking world, but it is sometimes used as a feminine name nowadays.

On the other hand, the name Angelina became common in the 18th century as an English name. It has been given to many notable people, from Angelina Pivarnick the American model, singer, filmmaker and wrestler to Angelina Yushkova Russian gymnast.
