The former Kaduna State Senator and Governor, Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi is now the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party or PDP. He is now responsible for leading a party that is in crisis and to restore the order and confidence back to its original state.
However, Makarfi has yet to make any changes in the PDP, as he has spent a lot of time fighting the faction led by Ali Modu Sheriff. In fact, the Ondo gubernatorial polls indicate that Sheriff might have staying power after winning some key court victories.
