Adele Going on an Australian Tour in 2017

When tickets for Adele’s very first Australian tour go on sale, they are expected to sell-out in minutes. Demand for the tickets will be more intense than normal, as there is no pre-sale for the national tour.

The British singer announced on Twitter that she will be coming to Australia. The multi-award winning performer has broken many sales records around the world with her albums, even in Australia.

The 28-year-old will make her debut tour in Australia in 2017, throughout the months of February and March. Adele will do many shows in stadiums in each of the capital cities with an “in the round” design that will create intimacy in the large venues, according to tour promoters.

Besides the “360 degree experience,” she will be outdoors performing to a large audiences. To cope with the demand, there will be a staggered release of tickets from city to city. While ticket prices vary depending on the city, they begin at $100 and go up to $300 for good seats.

The feminine name Adele is the German, Italian, Finnish and English version of Adéle, which is the French form of Adela. The name Adela is the short version of names that start with the Germanic element adal that means “noble”. The name was originally given to Saint Adela, who was a Frankish princess from the 7th century that founded a monastery in France. The name was also given to a daughter of William the Conqueror.
