Östen Warnerbring: was a Swedish singer.Warnerbring made several appearances in the Swedish heats of Eurovision. His first was in the 1959 qualifying competition with the song Kungsgatans blues which finished in fourth place. In 1960 he tried again and although he won with Alla andra får varann, SR decided to send Siw Malmkvist to the Eurovision final in London. Warnerbring performed two songs in the 1962 final. Lolo Lolita was placed fourth and Trollen ska trivas sixth.

Ariel Gerardo Nahuelpan Osten: an Argentine football striker, who plays for Coritiba in Série A.[1]Born in Ciudad Evita,[2] Ariel Nahuelpan started his career in 2006, at Nueva Chicago, playing 42 Primera B Nacional Argentina games and scoring nine goals.[3] He left the club in 2008,[3] joining Brazilian club Coritiba for US$ 1.3 million,[4] The Argentine player scored three goals in the 12 Série A games he played for the club in 2008.[1] He played five 2009 Série A games as of June 20, 2009. [5] On September 6, 2009, he scored two goals in a game against Goiás Esporte Clube.

Adolph Sigfried Von Der Osten: was a Danish diplomat of German descent. His father was Jacob Frants von der Osten (died 1739), whose family was Pomeranian. Adolph was born in Denmark and backed Danish nationalism. Christian VI of Denmark paid for him to travel abroad and he was cared for by Carl Adolph von Plessen when young. In 1783 he was made a knight of the Order of the Elephant.

Mark Ostendarp: is a retired German runner who specialized in the 3000 metres steeplechase. He won the 1997 Summer Universiade,[1] finished ninth at the 1997 World Championships and at the 1998 European Championships.[2] At the 1998 IAAF World Cup he ran the 1500 metres and finished sixth.

Carl Emil Hansen Ostenfeld: was a Danish systematic botanist. He graduated from the University of Copenhagen under professor Eugenius Warming. He was a keeper at the Botanical Museum 1900-1918, when he became professor of botany at the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural College. In 1923, by the early retirement of Raunkiær's, Ostenfeldt became professor of botany at the University of Copenhagen and director of the Copenhagen Botanical Garden, both positions held until his dead in 1931[1]. He was a member of the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters and served on the board of directors of the Carlsberg Foundation.
