Maurycy Klemens Zamoyski: (1871–1939) was a Polish nobleman (szlachcic), politician, social activist, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland.

Maurycy Gottlieb            Origin/Culture/Country: Polish

Maurycy Gottlieb: was a Jewish painter, of Polish-speaking Galician Jews from the western part of Ukraine. He was born in Drohobych (at that time Austria-Hungary), Galicia, modern Lviv region, western Ukraine.Maurycy was one of Isaac & Fanya Tigerman Gottlieb's eleven children. At fifteen, he was enrolled at the Vienna Fine Arts Academy. Later, he would study under Jan Matejko in Kraków. However, he experienced anti-semitism from his fellow students, and left Matejko's studio after less than a year, he then traveled to Norway settling in Molde. After several years he returned to Vienna to pursue his Jewish roots.

Maurycy Orzech            Origin/Culture/Country: Polish

Maurycy Orzech: was a Polish-Jewish economist, journalist, politician and a leader of the Jewish Bund in interwar Poland. He was one of the commanders of the Bund during the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.Orzech joined the Bund in 1907 and was in charge of the party's newspaper, Forverts. In the late 1920's he served as chairman of the Bund-founded Socialist Association of Artisans of the Republic of Poland ("Socialist Artisans").[2] Orzech was also member of the Bund affiliated Morgnshtern sports organization.[3] He owned a textile manufacturing factory, "Bazar Orzecha" which was very profitable.[4] Orzech used money from his business to finance the Yiddish newspaper Folkstsaytung, of which he was also an editor.[4]

Maurycy Mochnacki: was a Polish publicist. He participated in November Uprising as a chronicler - Powstanie narodu polskiego w roku 1830 i 1831. After the defeat, he emigrated. In his early life, he was a supporter of Polish Jacobins ideology. He died in Auxerre.
