Yukihisa Fujita: a Japanese politician of the Democratic Party of Japan, a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Mito, Ibaraki and graduate of Keio University. Elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in 1996, after losing the 2000 re-election, he was elected to the House of Representatives for the second time in 2003. Losing his seat again in the 2005 re-election, he was elected to the House of Councillors for the first time in 2007.[1]
