Yoshiro Nakamatsu: also known as Dr. NakaMats, is a Japanese inventor claiming to hold the world record for number of inventions with over 3,000, including "PyonPyon" spring shoes and the basic technology for the floppy disk, the [[Compact Disc|CD, the DVD, the digital watch, CinemaScope, armchair "Cerebrex", sauce pump, and the taxicab meter.[1][2] Nakamatsu claims that he licensed about a dozen of his patents related to the floppy disk technology to IBM Corporation in 1979, but the details of the arrangement are confidential.[1] A spokesman for IBM said that the company has an "ongoing relationship" with Nakamatsu,[1] and, in another media report, said that the company owns the legal patent to the floppy disk and that it reached several nonexclusive patent agreements with Nakamatsu in the late 1970s to avoid conflicts.[3]

Yoshiro Mori: is a Japanese politician who served as the 85th and 86th Prime Minister of Japan starting at April 5, 2000 ending April 26, 2001. Commonly described as having "the heart of a flea and the brain of a shark,"[1][2] he was an unpopular prime minister mainly remembered today for his many gaffes and situationally inappropriate actions. He is currently President of the Japan Rugby Football Union as well as the Japan-Korea Parliamentarians' Union.

Yoshiro Okabe: was a Japanese engineer who is known for the only assistant of Thomas Edison. He worked at Menlo Park from 1904 to 1914.After going back Japan, Okabe made the short Sound film Katyusha (the leadng actress:Matsui Sumako)using Edison's kinetoscope.[1] He died in 1945 in Kobe in a U.S. air strike.

Yoshiro Nagayo: was a novelist and playwright in Showa period Japan.Nagayo was born in Tokyo, as the 5th son of the famous doctor, Nagayo Sensai. He attended the Gakushuin Peers' School, and went on to graduate from Tokyo Imperial University. Through his school connections, he made the acquaintance of Mushanokoji Saneatsu and Shiga Naoya, and he contributed works to the Shirakaba ("White Birch") literary journal. He is considered a typical spokesman for the humanistic philosophy of the Shirakaba school.

Yoshiro Okamoto: a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Tokushima, Tokushima, he graduated from the University of Tokyo in March 1967. Upon graduate, he joined the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, which is now part of Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. In June 1997 he also received a Ph.D in agriculture while still in the ministry. He left the ministry in the following year to run for the House of Representatives in the 2000 election but lost. He ran again in 2003 and was elected for the first time.
