Sohei Morita: was the pen name of a novelist and translator of Western literature in the late Meiji, Taisho and early Showa period Japan. His real name was Morita Yonematsu.Morita approached Yosano Tekkan, editor of the influential literary magazine Myojo for assistance in an introduction to Natsume Soseki in an effort to become accepted as one of Soseki's students. Tekkan not only introduced Morita to Soseki, but also introduced him to the famous feminist activist and author Hiratsuka Raicho.

Sohei Nihi: a Japanese politician of the Japan Communist Party, a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Kitakyushu, Fukuoka and graduate of Kyoto University, he was elected for the first time in 2004 after unsuccessful runs for the House of Representatives in 2000 and 2003 and for the House of Councillors in 2001.

Bencheikh graduated in Islamic theology at Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt, and at the Free University of Brussels, Belgium. He holds a doctorate in Religious Sciences from the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes (EPHE), Paris, France. He was nominated as Grand Mufti of Marseille, France[1], in 1995 by the Great Mosque of Paris. He is a member of the Conseil Français du Culte Musulman (Council of French Muslims) since its creation in 2003.
