Ryota Tsuzuki: a Japanese football (soccer) player, who is a goalkeeper currently playing for Urawa Red Diamonds of J. League.After graduating from Kunimi High School in Nagasaki, he joined J. League side Gamba Osaka in 1997. He made his professional debut on November 11, 1998 at Osaka Expo '70 Stadium. He became the first choice 'keeper in 2000 dislodging Hayato Okanaka but he was transferred to Urawa at the end of the 2002 season after a row with manager Akira Nishino. At Urawa, he battles with Norihiro Yamagishi for the position.He made his international debut for Japan on June 4, 2001 in a FIFA Confederations Cup match against Brazil at Kashima Stadium. He has been capped three times.
