Mamoru Nagano: a Japanese mangaka, animator and mecha designer.He is noted for his work with anime studio Sunrise, with his work in Heavy Metal L-Gaim introducing mecha with armor plates that appeared to fit loosely over an internal skeleton. These detailed and somewhat plausible designs sparked a fresh wave of designs in mecha anime. From there, Nagano went on to design elegant and graceful mecha for his manga The Five Star Stories that displayed elongated lines, delicate curves and a degree of decoration and detail that appealed to the imaginations of a generation of mecha fans. Nagano can be called an innovator in the field of mecha design. He has also contributed to the mecha designs of Zeta Gundam. Among his contributions were the Rick Dias and Hyakushiki.

Mamoru Imura: a Japanese inventor[1][2], music composer, and Chief Executive Officer of Vita Craft Corporation and Vita Craft Japan who currently resides in Nishinomiya, Japan.Mamoru attended the Osaka University of Foreign Studies for roughly a year, but then dropped out. Shortly after he was accepted into the University of Tokyo, but the school was temporary shut down due to student protests, so he transferred to Trinity College, Oxford and then about a year later he transferred to Stanford University. In 1974 Mamoru established Imura & Co., LTD (VitaCraft Japan) and in 2002 Mamoru purchased Vita Craft Corporation. In 2007, he patented the RFIQin.[1][2]
