Fumio Fujimura: was a right-handed pitcher for the Osaka Tigers in Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball.In the 1933 National High School Baseball Championship, his team reached the quarterfinals but his opponent Masao Yoshida pitched a shutout in the game. In the final of 1934 National High School Baseball Championship, he faced Tetsuharu Kawakami and had three strikeouts in three at bats. He won the championship. In Tigers, he was also active as a hitter. In 1950, he recorded 191 hits. This record remained unbroken for 44 years, until Ichiro Suzuki in 1994. He was inducted to the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974. His number, 10, is retired with the Hanshin Tigers.

Fumio Igarashi: a former Japanese figure skater from Tokyo, Japan. He was the 1977 and 1979-1981 Japanese national champion. His highest placement at the World Figure Skating Championships was fourth, in 1981. He placed ninth at the 1980 Winter Olympics. He was coached by Frank Carroll.

Fumio Goto: was a Japanese politician and bureaucrat, and briefly served as interim Prime Minister of Japan in 1936.Goto was a graduate of the Law School of Tokyo Imperial University in 1908. During his early career in the 1920s, he worked in the Home Ministry, and was Director of Administration within the office of the Governor-General of Taiwan.In the 1930s, Goto was appointed to a seat in the House of Peers in the Diet of Japan. He served as Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries between 1932 and 1934 in the cabinet of Prime Minister Makoto Saito, and was later Home Minister in the cabinet of Keisuke Okada.

Fumio Kyuma: a Japanese politician who has served in the Diet of Japan since 1980.[1] Kyuma graduated from the University of Tokyo in 1964 and worked for the Ministry of Agriculture.[2] He was elected to the Nagasaki Prefectural Assembly in 1971 serving three terms before being elected to the Diet as a member of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) for Nagasaki Number 2.
