Shrilal Shukla: a Hindi writer, notable for his satire. He worked as a Provincial Civil Services (PCS) officer for the state government of Uttar Pradesh. He has written over 21 books [1], including, "Umraonagar men Kuchh Din" and "Suni Ghati ka Suraj".Shukla has highlighted the falling moral values in the Indian society in the post independence era through his novels. His writings expose the negative aspects of life in the rural and urban India in a satirical manner. His best known work Raag Darbari has been translated into English. A soap opera based on this continued for several months the national TV network in 1980s. It is a little known fact that he also wrote a jasoosi novel entitled Aadmi ka Zahar which went generally unnoticed by his fans and critics alike.

Munna Shukla: a Kathak guru and choreographer of Lucknow Gharana based in New Delhi, India. Born to a family who has been involved in dance for generations, Munna Shukla specializes in Kathak, a classical dance form of North India. He is a grandson of the noted Kathak Maestro, Late Achhan Maharaj, and a nephew of Birju Maharaj.Shukla received his initial training in Kathak from his father, late Sunder Lal Shukla, and later on from Birju Maharaj in New Delhi under the National Scholarship Scheme offered by the Ministry of Culture. During his training, he participated in many productions and gave several solo performances in the major cities of India.

Prof. Ram Chandra Shukla: an Indian painter and art critic.[1]Ram Chandra Shukla joined Banaras Hindu University as a teacher of art in the department of Painting. He retired as a Professor and the Head of Department of Painting of Banaras Hindu University in the year 1985.Subsequently, he shifted to his native place, Allahabad and started his studio there.
