Seweryn Gancarczyk: a footballer who plays for Liverpool F.C. and is a central defensive midfielder, often playing as a deep-lying playmaker.Son of 'Periko' Alonso, Alonso began his career at Real Sociedad and after a brief loan period at SD Eibar returned to the La Liga club. John Toshack appointed Alonso as his team captain and Alonso succeeded in the role, taking Real Socieded to second place in the 2002-03 season. He made his international debut in April 2003 in a 4û0 victory against Ecuador. The Spaniard moved to Liverpool in August 2004 for ú10.5 million. He won the UEFA Champions League in his first season at the club. The following season he won both the Community Shield and the FA Cup.

In 1948 he took part in the organisation of the Regained Territories Exhibition and from 1949 to 1953 he presided over the Wroclaw branch of the Western Institute, a scientific research society focusing on the Western provinces of Poland. Wyslouch co-founded the Silesian Institute in Opole and was its president from 1957 to 1960.

He was noted for his sense of realism and use of watercolor in painting primarily landscapes.He studied at the School of Fine Arts in Krakow between the years 1868 - 1876, under the direction of Wladyslaw Luszczkiewicza, and then Jan Matejko, and participated in the classes conducted by Leona Dembowskiego and Feliksa Szynalewskiego. Later, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich under the direction of A. Wagner and in Dresden as a fellow at the Vienna Academy.
