Alvin Leon Williams: is an American professional basketball player of the National Basketball Association. He played college basketball at Villanova University. The Portland Trail Blazers drafted him in the second round of the 1997 NBA Draft, and Williams began his career there before going on to play for the Toronto Raptors, joining them in 1998. He appeared in all 82 games for two straight seasons, in 2001-02 and 2002-03. After missing a third of the 2003-04 and the entire 2004-05 season with a knee injury, Williams re-joined the lineup at the start of the 2005-06 season. Unfortunately, the injured knee forced Williams back on the injured list after playing just one game that season.

The highlight of his career was in 1968, when he teamed with Connie Hawkins to lead the Pittsburgh Pipers to the ABA Championship. He retired in 1973 with 6,020 total points and a career scoring average of 16.2 points per game.

Charles Frederick William Grover Williams: was a Grand Prix motor racing driver and war hero.Born to an English father and a French mother in the Montrouge suburb of Paris, France, Grover-Williams grew up fluent in both the French and English languages. When World War I broke out, his family moved to Monaco where he got a job as a chauffeur. Mechanically inclined, and fascinated by motorized vehicles, Charles Frederick William Grover-Williams bought a motorcycle and began racing. Returning to Paris, in 1919 he worked as the chauffeur for the famous Irish war artist, Sir William Orpen.
