She represented the sports club SC Dynamo Berlin, and became East German championships in 1987, 1989 and 1990.[1] Her personal best throw was 21.31 metres, achieved in May 1988 in Athens.[2] This ranks her seventh among German shot putters, behind Ilona Slupianek, Claudia Losch, Marianne Adam, Margitta Droese, Ines Müller and Eva Wilms.[3]

Heike Rohrmann: is a retired East German shot putter. She won the gold medal at the 1986 World Junior Championships and a silver medal at the 1988 World Junior Championships. Her personal best throw was 18.94 metres, achieved in May 1988 in Halle. This places her among the best junior athletes (age 19 and less) of all time.[1] However, she lacked significant achievements on the senior level.
