Glyn Hodges: is a Welsh football manager and former player. He played 18 times for the Welsh national side, scoring twice.Hodges' five years at Bramall Lane were successful and he made more than 150 appearances for The Blades before moving to Derby County for a brief spell in 1996. After a year in Hong Kong with Sing Tao (football), Hodges returned to England for a brief spell at Hull City. However, a big club clause in his contract allowed a move to Nottingham Forest to link once again with Bassett as a potential coach. However, an injury crisis at the start of the 1998/99 season meant Hodges was drafted in as a player. Brief spells at Total Network Solutions and Scarborough followed before Hodges hung up his boots in 2000.

Jim Hodges: a New York-based artist. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Fort Wright College in 1980 and his Master of Fine Arts degree from the Pratt Institute in 1986. His piece "Don't Be Afraid" was installed on the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington, DC in 2005. His most recent large-scale sculpture, "look and see" (a 9 ton stainless steel abstraction of camouflage) was purchased by the Albright-Knox Museum, Buffalo, NY in 2007.
