Geoffroy Tory: was a French humanist and an engraver, best known for adding written letters in French. Tory studied in Bourges, then in Rome and in Bologne, until he returned to Paris 1505. He became the dean of several schools at the University of Paris, where he taught grammar and philosophy. He also worked as a spelling-checker and as an engraver.

Geoffroy Messina: is a French rugby union footballer, born on May 29, 1982 in La Tronche, Isère. [1] He currently plays the center position. Messina started his career with FC Grenoble in 2001, and stayed with them for 2 years. In the end of 2002 he changed teams to play for ASM Clermont, until 2005. Since then he has played for Stade Français Paris. Messina earned the titles of Champion de France 2007, and Vice World Champion 1999. Messina also models on the side. Thierry Geoffroy: is a Danish-French artist. Living in Copenhagen, Denmark. Conceptual artist specialized in format art.Thierry Geoffroy has worked with format art since 1989 when he wrote a manifest on 5 types of moving exhibitions(Manifeste – Les differents Types de moving Exhibitions). Since then he has worked on several other formats, his most famous being Emergency Room, which has toured internationally and has been shown at P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center in New York.

Jean-Nicolas Geoffroy: was a French harpsichordist and organist. His birthplace is unknown; he died in Perpignan. His life before 1690 is unknown; he was probably a pupil of Nicolas Lebègue and served as titular organist of the Saint-Nicolas-du-Chardonnet church in Paris. He was considered an expert in organ building and at some point in life settled in Perpignan where he played the organ of Perpignan Cathedral (Cathédrale Saint-Jean-Baptiste).
