Roger Duguay: is a former Canadian politician and Roman Catholic priest. He sought election to the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick unsuccessfully on four occasions as a representative of the New Brunswick New Democratic Party (NDP). He served as the NDP's leader from 2007 to 2010. Duguay has been a candidate for the NB New Democratic Party on three previous occasions, dating back to the 1991 election. In the 2006 election, Duguay was the party's most successful candidate, winning 26.1 per cent of the vote in the riding of Miramichi Bay-Neguac. This result led to his successful nomination for the party leadership on October 13, 2007.

Raôul Duguay: is an artist, poet, musician, and political activist in the Canadian province of Quebec. He been an active performer since 1966. Duguay is a longtime supporter of the Quebec sovereigntist movement and has run for public office on at least two occasions. Duguay is a longtime supporter of Quebec sovereigntism. In his poem Trente Lettres (1995), he described Canada as a father who "never gave mother [Quebec] an orgasm." In 2010, he signed a public letter criticizing the organizers of Quebec City's Festival d'été for booking mostly anglophone acts to perform. Duguay ran for the Canadian House of Commons in the 1972 federal election as a non-affiliated candidate in Longueuil, under the name "Raôul Wéziwézô Duguay." He finished well behind Liberal candidate Jacques Olivier. In the 1998 provincial election, he ran as a candidate of the governing Parti Québécois in Brome—Missisquoi. He finished second to Liberal incumbent Pierre Paradis.

Léo Duguay: was a Progressive Conservative party member of the Canadian House of Commons. He was an educator and school administrator prior to getting elected. Duguay was elected at the riding of Saint Boniface in the 1984 federal election and served in the 33rd Canadian Parliament. He left federal politics after the 1988 federal election after being defeated by Ron Duhamel of the Liberal party.
