Louis-René Beaudoin: was Speaker of the Canadian House of Commons from 1953 to 1957.Beadouin was first elected to the Canadian House of Commons in the 1945 election as a Liberal from Quebec. He became Deputy Speaker in 1952 and was appointed Speaker of the House of Commons on November 12, 1953.Beaudoin's reputation was destroyed. While he was re-elected to the House in the 1957 election, he decided to retire in 1958. He moved to the United States, enrolled in a doctoral program at Columbia University, but failed to finish his thesis. He spent the remainder of his life drifting from job to job even finding work serving beer in a tavern. He returned to Montreal, where he died aged 57 of a heart attack in 1970, "virtually penniless and alone, in the back seat of a Montreal taxi."

Léonel Beaudoin: is a former Canadian politician and insurance agent. He was elected to the Canadian House of Commons in the 1968 federal election as a Member of the Ralliement Créditiste to represent the riding of Richmond. After that party merged with the Social Credit Party of Canada, he was re-elected as a Social Credit candidate in the 1972 and 1974 federal elections. He ran unsuccessfully in the 1965 election in the riding of Richmond—Wolfe. He was a member of various standing committees.

Louise Beaudoin: is a Canadian politician, who represents the electoral district of Rosemont in the National Assembly of Quebec, initially as a member of the Parti Québécois (PQ), and since June 6, 2011, as an independent. She is best known for her previous tenure as MNA of Chambly, from 1994 to 2003, when she occupied various ministerial positions. Beaudoin was elected as a péquiste in the riding of Chambly in 1994, and re-elected in 1998. After eight years as MNA of Chambly, Beaudoin was defeated by the Liberal Diane Legault in 2003. Her defeat was largely attributed to anti-PQ resentment in the Saint-Bruno area of the riding as a result of Bill 170. After her departure from the National Assembly, she joined the Université du Québec à Montréal as a professor and there continued her studies into globalization. She was decorated as a commandeur of the Légion d'honneur on September 23, 2004.

She was subsequently re-elected in the 2008 provincial election. She is a member of the Parti Québécois.
